Smart Regulation
Smart regulation efforts in the EU aim at reducing regulatory burdens in EU legislation. The objective is to make the everyday workflows of European businesses easier and to contribute to growth and strengthened competitiveness on the EU’s Single Market.
Free Movement
The Single Market allows for free movement of goods, services, and people within the EU. The Internal Market Centre is the national contact point for the implementation of horizontal EU legislation in the services area, and the national focal point for horizontal EU regulation concerning free movement of goods.
Digital Agenda for Europe
The Digital Agenda for Europe is the EU’s strategy to promote a coherent digital economy in Europe by the end of 2015, focusing on seven core tasks including the completion of the Digital Single Market and making the most of the potential in ICT-driven growth.
