The purpose of collecting and processing your personal data is to register your participation in a physical or virtual event.

The legal basis for the collection and use of your personal data

The legal basis for the collection and use of your personal data comes from The General Data Protection Regulation article 6, paragraph 1, point e (processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller).

Categories of personal data

We collect general personal data such as your name and e-mail address.

Where your personal data come from

We have received personal data from you. If we do not receive your personal data, you will be unable to attend the physical or virtual event.

The Recipients or the categories of recipients

The Danish Business Authority makes use of data protection officers who have access to your personal data to the extent that is necessary to provide their services to us. When you register yourself for physical events at the Danish Business Authority, your personal data is only passed on to our data protection officers.

Storage of your personal data

Currently, we cannot say how long we will keep your personal data. However, we can inform you that we will emphasise how long your data is necessary for the case when determining how long the data will be kept.

The right to withdraw consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any given time. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us.

The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing of your personal data based on your previously submitted consent up to the time that your consent is withdrawn. This is to clarify that the withdrawal of your consent will take effect from that time.
