Denmark’s participation in EXPO 2025
Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden have joined forces and participate with a joint Nordic pavilion at EXPO 2025 with the aim of strengthening relations with Japan and Japanese companies. The pavilion will support the Nordic Council of Ministers' Vision 2030 to make the Nordic region the most sustainable and integrated region in the world. The Nordic countries aim to strengthen ties with Japan and Japanese companies and the Nordic participation in Expo 2025 underscores a significant commitment to the Japanese market.
By working together rather than competing, the joint pavilion will benefit from the Nordic brand and make a strong impression at the world exhibition.
Designed by Rimond Architects, the Nordic Pavilion is a 1200 m2, 17 m high wooden structure that illustrates a timeless and sustainable mindset. The pavilion houses a joint Nordic exhibition, a shop, a roof terrace with a café and Nordic garden, as well as a conference room and meeting facilities.
