The Emission Trading Registry

The EU Emission Trading Registry is a central part of EU´s Emission Trading System (EU ETS), where companies covered by the scheme must hold an account in which their compliance with climate obligations is recorded by returning allowances corresponding to their emissions. A company or private individual registered in Denmark may also choose to open a Trading Account, which is a voluntary account type. It is also in the EU Emission Trading Registry that you can trade CO2 allowances.
